but its there let me try OFW n see...

he mean to say that this bug cant be solved coz it with Core issue and not the rofs2

And he is absolutely right.

Either the core should be modified or else rofs2 should be adjusted to include some files which rewrites the core file

I got the solution and will be testing over it. If it gets success, I will implement it in future releases :)

Guys need a little help here.

My X6 RM 559 is running on v40.

I flashed it using binh24 v40 core and renamed the rofs2 of Krystal 1.5 as my OFW but the phone got bricked.

Any solutions?

Rename the rofs2 to "RM-559_40.0.002_prd.rofs2.V20"

Remember to change the extension too... (.V20)

This is the v40 core from binh24 I suppose: http://www.filesonic.com/file/3309464584

I didnt change the extension. Maybe thats the problem.

Also should I rename the uda file?

No, dont change the uda file name....use the one provided in core as it is

And yeah, renaming the rofs2 extension is compulsory....hence ur phone got bricked.

Flash it and let me know if you face any issues... I will try my best to help you out :)

Nope bro :(

I have seen you posting something about repacking the rofs2. But I dont know how to do it :(

Okay, nevermind

BTW, Try this tutorial to flash: http://forum.gizmolord.com/custom-firmware-discussions/(tutorial)-how-to-flash-with-3-files-(c00-rofs2-and-uda)/

And if there is any file names rofs3, then delete it

I just visited binh24 blog.

he provided a note there:

Notes:

Click Factory when Jaf Or use this empty Uda Don`t forget to feedback for better !

If you want to use anothers CFW Use this Core from Here

If this core doesnt work, then use the v30 core and try !!!
