Die2mrw007 Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 OK SHASHWAT i m not flashing my mobile with ofw files ^'> ^'> can you pls tell me which is the fastest firmware till today for nokia 5233??? You need to try out some cfws and decide it yourself Because, it all depends upon the user taste....some like C6 based cfw..some like N97 based cfw and some like ofw If I points out a cfw which works fast, there will be other issues in it such as high RAM consumption...if i points out a cfw which has highest free RAM, there might be performance issue (it wont be that fast)...and with regards to lookwise too u may dislike some cfw. So, the end verdict will be: there isnt any cfw which can be termed as best coz not all person will like it..its the user taste. You will need to check out each cfw posted here which has your interests in, and decide upon which cfw wil be good for you which suits your need and requirements !!! Quote

Pampooh Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 Yep, thanks for the recommendation lrajesh555, +1, but I already have that. I just like having numerous office apps just incase one cannot open a doc or something. For those having problems installing QuickOffice, Extract ROFS2 and go to Resource>Apps and delete ces_pdffilterinfostub.mif. (For some reason this does not get deleted using Nokia Firmware Cleaner). I can go with Krystal 1.5 used core? Enlighten me pls.. Just make your mind clear that you cant ever use lower core version of your phone. Either use the same core version of your phone or upgrade. But downgrading is not at all recommended. If you are at core version v52.0.101, never use v52.0.007 core files. If u already have the 52.0.101 core files which u used to flash Krystal^1.5 cfw, u can use the same core to flash any C6/N97 based cfw and some cfws which are C6 structured (like Blaze cfw) Quote

It is suppose to give better phone performance? How do you evaluate V60 over V52. @Rajesh - Yes, i downloaded the file, cant find uda. Quote

It is suppose to give better phone performance? How do you evaluate V60 over V52. @Rajesh - Yes, i downloaded the file, cant find uda. There isnt any performance upgrade if u are using it with cfw Reason: all the core contents are present in rofs2 Its just if you are using ofw, the core versions matters as greater the core version, better will be the improvements For uda, You will find it in Core package with extension uda.fspx Quote
LRajesh555 Posted January 17, 2012 Report Posted January 17, 2012 @Rajesh - Yes, i downloaded the file, cant find uda. then u may find it in the core package as nitesh told ...so download the core package Quote
