Can somebody please working link to binh core FOR 5800 ( rm-356 ) V52.0.007 New Core?

5800xm - rm356
My version is V 52.0.007

I have Question ...

Should i stay on this version or upgrade to v60.0.3?

I see old firmware are available thru NaviFirm Plus.

I tried the below core file.

now phone is not starting, showing garbled screen then getting turned off. I followed the process http://forum.gizmolord.com/custom-firmware-discussions/%28tutorial%29-how-to-flash-with-3-files-%28c00-rofs2-and-uda%29-by-die2mrw007/, didn't touch any button or screen. I also tried removing battery when they there was no sign of any activity.

Suspecting above file was wrong. .. Can somebody provide me the core file required for this version?

Now have successfully flashing back to original firmware v52.0.7 which i downloaded thru NaviFirm Plus using "use ini" method in JAF.

means a rofs depends on core you can only use those core which is modified with it's rofs............

you can use sfr cores and team eclipse also uploaded core ......... search on this forum...........

Hi z4reg, sorry I'm not active on forum these days... However,

I thought the topic is well covered in the thread... here's the procedure:

STEP:1 : Install Nokia PC SUITE is you don't have it already and connect phone with data cable at-least once. Now go to mass storage mode and delete all files and folders named "Private", "Resources", "Sys", "System" etc (Better if you can format your memory card). Now make a backup of ur Contacts and Messages if you need to.

STEP:2 : Download and install JAF from here http://www.mediafire.com/?yn1ywy5cunj

STEP:3 : Download V60.0.003 PNHT Core FOR 113 MB (This is important). Please ask some1 with RM356 to reupload the core.

STEP:4 : Okay, we now have all the files needed

i) The ROFS2 with a name : RM-356_60.0.003_prd.rofs2.V20

ii) The UDA with name : RM-356_60.0.003_000_001_U001.uda.fpsx

iii) The core with name :RM-356_60.0.003_prd.core.c00

STEP:5 : Now rename the CORE exactly like this: RM-356_60.0.003_prd.core.c0r

Okay cool Now copy all this files and put them all in a new folder in your Desktop (Or anywhere else you like)

STEP:6: Now start the OGM JAF (Blue icon on your desktop/start menu) and click on go

Alrighty, an error might come up, just ignore it by pressing OK.

Now ""UNTICK"" EVERYTHING "without" -- "Manual Flash" , "Dead USB" and "Normal mode" (you can even untick Normal mode).

STEP:7 :

Now it's pretty easy!

----Click MCU button and select that RM-356_60.0.003_prd.core.c0r file in your desktop folder (MCU Button will glow green!)

----Click on PPM button and select RM-356_60.0.003_prd.rofs2.V20 file (PPM button glows green)

----Click on APE Variant and select RM-356_60.0.003_000_001_U001.uda.fpsx (Ape button glows)

---- WE DONT NEED CNT BUTTON

STEP:8 :

Hmm we are ready to FLASH! So click on the Flash Button and a scary sound effect is played with a warning popup

Click on Yes and in the log window on the bottom of the program, you'll see some lines are being logged. It will eventually display

Searching for phone...

Press Power Button now...

And you do just that! Click on your phones power button once (not too long! just once gently...)

Flashing begins..

Wait for it to end. When again a scary sound plays and it says Done!!!

You're done finally! Remove the battery from your phone, reinsert and restart your phone!

On opening the archive I found that the rofs and uda are meant for firmware version 32.0.002 I am having at present Distro CFW with version 40.0.002. Isn't there a rofs for version 40.0.002? Please help, I really want to try out this firmware

I am having Nokia 5235 with RM-588 v51.6.002 ofw. If I flash with this LinsPirat LTS cfw, will I be able to flash it back to RM-588 v51.6.002 ofw? I have downloaded the ofw as well with navifirm. EDIT: I checked this cfw is v50.0.001, what can I do for my v51.6.002 as I read downgrade can make the phone go dead! Any other versions of any cfw for my version, so that I can flash to that cfw and if not interested flash bak to my ofw?

Yes you can go back to OFW anytimes by flashing with OFW files.

And don't worry about the rofs2 version. Just use v51.6.002 core with this rofs2 and flash using 3 file flashing method by die2mrw007.

No. Not the core from Navifirm. Use repartitioned core of v51.6.002.

as i am using RM-356 v60 n the cfw files are meant for lower version.. i tried to flash with your rofs2 & v60 core but end up with a bricked phone..

so please provide the updated links for RM-356 v60.0.003..

or provide some tutorial for porting it to v60.. +1 for help

Use Binh24 v60 core and Linspirate v2 rofs2 for 5800. And flash using This Method.

Use LPv2 rofs2 for your phone and v51 latest core by Binh24 to flash your phone.

Don't use 'use ini' method. Try to flash with This Method.
