Hi everybody!

I'm new to this forum. Can someone help me with the link to how to replace ROM on my Pantech Burst. I would like to install Stock Lite.

well , Make sure your phone is rooted . If not that follow this guide [TUTORIAL] [Root]Pantech burst

than It must be having clock work recovery mod also . Follow this guide if you don't have --> [TUTORIAL] ClockWork Recovery Mod For Pantech Burst

Than download stocklite from the link given and place at root of SD / ext -SD card ( your wish )

Than in CWM go to mounts and storage format /system , / data and /cache than go to install zip from SD card and select SD/ext-SD card(where you put actually  . And than select and flash . Than reboot .

Before making any other query check HERE first .

So how's the cm10 dev going ? ICS is super lame !!! I just got this burst to replace my HTC glacier I broke. I had cm10.1 on that was best thing ever! Really annoyed with being stuck on ICS again!!! I am running stocklite  witch is bearable but can not wait to say good bye to ! Pleassssse get cm10 up and running soon!!!!!

The cm test build is still far from being able to b used as a dd ...no sd support ,cam, flash, various sensors. Good start but i def need most of those things to function before its practical to use....were is link for 3.18. ? And changlog ? Who is dev this aswell?

i store Gizmolord RC 7 V4.0 rom which is same as my stock rom... but i found some bugs in Gizmolord RC 7 V4.0.. in fact mt stock is best for me... here is my problem i am unable to mount my original rom... i have back up for my rom so question is how i go to stock rom please help.... which rom is best now a days in pentech burst please replay its new gadget for me yesterday i get it via ebay... i advance thnx to dev ^'>

i ahve been using the gizmolord V4.0 RC7 rom for a while now. i somehow could not get the USB tethering to work. i can connect to the PC using USB cable and the pantech PC suite but cannot use the 3g data on my pc. any apps which can help me in that?

Bro none has worked that out with native usb tethering. Our developer for burst CrackUC has told that there is some problem in stock itself with usb tether. However usb tethering works great with cwm tether app made by kaushik dutta.  Search for it,  i am using it and its the only app that works properly with usb tethering.

or will i have to install any third party app to get it to work.

some pointers in that aspect would be helpful.

installed secret code revealer app from play store

in that app

1)search codes

2)list codes

3) tap on "softapactivation"

4) launch code

5) now we have softaphidden menu

6) check on the first two check boxes

7)save

8) reboot

now we have native USB tethering

credit to the Xda thread on burst for the solution

PS : i have not changed any value.

my Pantech burst P9070 WiFi doesn't find my Wireless router! even not any wireless hotspot in range! before install your custom rom had same problem. When I bought the phone android gingerbreas was on it and had no problem. after upgrade problems show up. what should I do?

Are u sure ics update caused this problem as i have no such problem in stock or gizmolord...  Common guys Gizmolord has no problems.  I have flashed it on two handsets and still using in one, its been a month. If you are willing to go to the root of problem I suggest u to go back to complete stock and then try it. Since you have gizmolord installed so u am assuming u have cwm recovery also?? It could be any hardware fault so don't expect that it will work 100% but i assure you if it is due to any app or program then it will be solved. First of all read full post and quote if in confusion.  Don't start up blindly as this is dangerous process. Follow these steps. (Everything will be formatted) Plz follow on ur own : Prerequisites : Pc with pc suite installed,  Download n Install burst updater tool from pantech website, 1). Boot in cwm, clear data /reset / cache. 2). Advance > clear dalvik cache 3). Storage > format system 4). Now turn off ur phone and reboot by pressing vol+ + vol- + power.  It will reboot in soft download mode. 5. Plug in usb run updater, within minutes u r in complete stock. 2nd method. 1. Download Stock ICS (flashable zip) provided by our developer CrackUC. 2. Place zip in card 3. Reboot in cwm, Reset data/ cache. 4. advance > clear dalvik cache. 5. Storage > format system. 6. Install zip from sd and choose ics zip. U will loose root and most probably cwm too.  And will have to reinstall cwm and get rooted.
