Showing D drive and installing an application on it are two different things, are't they? Die2mrw007 Posted May 21, 2012 Report Share Posted May 21, 2012 RAM is Random access memory It is Read and write memory but looses the memory stored as soon as the device loose the connection. So, anything stored in this memory will last only for time being until the device isnt restarted or shut-down. Installing apps in this drive isnt preferable. RAM has its own purpose, it is not intended for file storage. For storage, we have fixed storage volumes (Phone memory and external memory).
