tintinboss Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 You need to use this files for flashing: Core: http://www.mediafire.com/?c39g75bmmejwgq7 Rofs2: http://www.mediafire.com/?jwkd7lcl59v3spp and follow this tutorial : http://forum.gizmolord.com/index.php?topic=10.0 (Remember: MCU, PPM and Ape Variant buttons in JAF should glow in JAF) @edios : See the quote and double check if you're using the right cores Did you try without factory set? tintinboss Posted February 8, 2012 Author Report Posted February 8, 2012 @edios : See the quote and double check if you're using the right cores Did you try without factory set? Since you're using X6, don't use the UDA provided for this time... Quote

Tristar Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Equilibrium. refer to below quote Alright guys, those using the x6 v40 core, dont use the uda, just flash using the core & rofs, and make sure u select the factory reset option as well. After u flash check and see if any of the problems u had are gone. Also make sure the folder from ur E: such as /private, /sys, /system & /resource are completed deleted before flashing. Please try this and report any issue. also use the core u used in equilibrium and the rofs of linspirat. Make sure u tick the factory settings too. If still there is a problem flash back to equilibrium and see if the issue still prevails. Quote
kailash343 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Without factory set its working but not perfectly.Homescreen is not working. Do a manual hard reset. 1st take a backup of all your data, backup your contacts and messages too. Then format your mass memory-go to the file manager, open the mass memory and select format. For hard reset, put off the phone, press the red, green, camera buttons and hold while pressing the power button-once the phone vibrates, you can leave the buttons. it'll manually factory reset. then try flashing without the factory set option in JAF. that is how I always do it.. Edios Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 I used the core i used with equilibrium and rofs2 of linspirat. But i cant do factory set.Thats the problem for me. Quote

kailash343 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 Hi, I seem to be having a problem with ovi maps. Basically, it doesn't show ovi maps inbuilt. So I got the sis file and installed it. While installing, it says that the file could not be found. I tried a clean swipe of the preexisting ovi maps using firmware cleaner and tried again with the same result. Can anyone help me? I prefer ovi maps to google maps as google maps does not give you much to work with on symbian plus ovi maps does have the navigation and stuff.. Quote
rain062887 Posted February 8, 2012 Report Posted February 8, 2012 hello guys, im new here, i had just flashed Linspirat LTS on my X6 but there's an error when i install easykeylock, it says component built in, hoping for your help. Thanks! Quote

Nez thats just a suggestion. Quote

Thanks! it happens cause some files of easlykeylock are left over in the cfw rofs, if u know how to use nfe(nokia firmware editor) u can delete the easykeylock.mif file from the resource/app folder present in the rofs and repack and reflash. There is a tutorial for using NFE under modding section Quote
