Tristar Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Hey guys i was just wondering if i can reflash my phone with the same cfw without having all my app data and settings lost that im using (which happends when u flash a new cfw/hard reset) cause ive added some few mods and repacked it. Someone had said i have to use a blank uda, but could someone be more detailed thanks...thanks !!!! Quote
Gaurav619 Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 U can flash as many times u want Quote
Tristar Posted October 9, 2011 Author Report Posted October 9, 2011 so that means even if i use the default uda provided with cfw i can flash continuously but i shouldn't use factory set right?? this way i can retain my apps and settings? Quote
Die2mrw007 Posted October 9, 2011 Report Posted October 9, 2011 Someone guided you wrong Flashing with blank uda will wipe out every thing from C:/ drive and you will get a blank C:/ drive If you need to retain everything as it is.....just avoid uda file for flashing....all the apps and settings would remain same as it was before.. All the user made contents...like messages, phone contacts, phone settings, browser bookmarks, etc Quote
farazejaz Posted October 25, 2011 Report Posted October 25, 2011 well my understanding is that whatever is in uda file while flashing will appear on c and by copying c onto uda will it not make my phones c drive like i have today ? provided i use the same cor and rofs2 and have all memory card folders intact ? yes im a newbie so i dont expect words of wisdom from myself by working on my genius idea i just got 42.8 mb of uda now am i going very wrong ?
