After the huge demand, delay, problems, etc etc, I have finally managed to release the most awaited CFW Velocity N97^2

CFW Creator: Gaurav619

Current CFW : Velocity N97^2

Previous CFW : Velocity^1

Supported RM's : RM-356, RM-504, RM-588, RM-625, RM-559

Base Firmware : N97v30.0.004

Languages Present : English Only

Major Modifications:

- Superb battery Mod by ME added to gain the best boasting battery life

- Major Bluetooth Headset problem fixed.

- Nokia 5800 Original codecs added for best audio quality for all phones.

- starter files tweaked to gain maximum Ram.

- Video call and mini qwerty removed for Nokia 5233 and Nokia 5230.

MESSAGING:

- "Message:" word removed from keyboard input.

- Messages sent by you will be saved up to 999 messages

- Messaging application no longer lags when containing large number of messages.

- N8 4x10 Qwerty Alphanumeric added with Auto rotate QWERTY 2x6 Landscape Grid Small button in landscape

- Default memory assigned to C:/ for better performance

- Save sent messages ON by default

- N8 Emotions Support

- 6 page symbols support

MENU:

- 4*4 grid in portrait and 6*2 in landscape

- Menu Swap Grid Addad With No Scroll Bar

- No lags in menu

- Optimized to run very fast and smooth (Tweaked Kinetic Scrolling in Menu)

BROWSER:

- New Belle Browser added

- Default webpage set to "www.google.com"

- Supports HTML5

- Download manager will be started on browser start-up to resume

- Browser will prompt to continue download if connection breaks due to power failure

- Browser Cache set to C:\

- Auto form data save activated

FILE MANAGER:

- Nokia default file browser can send sisx, sis, jar and any protected items via bluetooth, mms and uploads.

- If You want to hide you personal and private images or video clips, make a folder in E:\ named "Velocity N97^2" (withoutquotes)

LIGHTS BEHAVIOUR:

- All lights bugs are fixed

- Green Charging light disabled.

- Breathing light OFF by default

- Calling Vibration enabled.

GRAPHICAL PERSONALISATIONS:

- Bootscreen Volume set to : 10

- Increased fps to get best quality shots and video recording

- camera completely fixed by ME

- "camera already in use"completely bug fixed

- Switch video light on renamed to "Image mode" for Nokia 5233 and Nokia 5230.

- Camera will not leave in background after close it (SAVES RAM)

- Voice recorder records upto 16:39:00 hours

INSTALLATION FEATURES:

- Java permission is set to default

- PNHT installserver patch removed. Installserver v1.7 patch provided with Rom Patcher

- SwiPolicy changed which enable to install almost apps without RomPatcher patch

GENERAL MODIFICATIONS :

- Wlan Widget completly removed from Nokia 5233 and Nokia 5230

- Symbian Multi Belle Navi Bar added

- New Belle Navibar icons edited by ME

- Glossy Anna icons modified by ME.

- Long press "0" will take you to memcheck

-"Restart" Option instead of "Lock Screen and Keys" in Power Menu by CODeRUS.

- Added Symbols to "Switch Off" and "Restart"

- Tap to Unlock added

- PC/OVI Suite will recognise your phone as Velocity N97^2.

- Camera will not eat RAM after closing it.

- Default bluetooth name: Velocity N97^2

- FOTA reserved space removed to get more space in C:\ (Phone Memory)

- USB now will name as Velocity N97^2.

- Voice recording during call fixed. Your phone won't crash if you record and call someone at the same time.

- RAM Cache in C:\ for better performance

- Blazing Fast Screen Rotation

- Default Web Browser bookmarks are edited.

- Lags in Menu removed. The Kinetic Scrolling is optimized

- Display rotation is ON by default

- Breathing light is OFF by default

- Delivery Reports ON by default in Messaging

- Theme effects are OFF by default

- Removed "Check for Updates" in Device Updates

- "speed dialing" ON by default

- "In call timer" ON by default

- Profile "General" renamed to "Velocity"

- Homescreen landscape enabled. Dialer landscape disabled.

- "ShareOnline" button replaced with "Delete" in Photo Gallery, A mod by dan-av.

- Now you can set AutoKeyguard Lock time.

- Now Music Player will not return you to Menu after exiting it.

- Glossy Anna Mediabar modified by me. Share online replaced with Bluethooth and videos & tv replaced with Accel Switch,

- "Power Off" button wont take you to HS.

- Gallery loads faster

- Brightness mod added

- Better and LOUD Ringtones added

PERFORMANCE UPGRADES:

- Highly Increased Application/Gaming frame rates

- Increased Response Rate (Now touchscreen will be more responsive)

- Graphical Complexity reduced. Performance Booster without any side effects.

- Music Player response highly increased (Instantly pauses/plays on clicking the buttons)

- Better effects complexity which should result in a speed increase

- Increased Heap Size further to boost up performance

- Lags in Menu, messaging and Other Large Applicationsare totally removed

- Phone will never slow down and the RAM won't be decreasing (RAM Caching modded)

- 60MB on C:\ (Phone memory)

- Smooth Kinetic Scrolling

- Music Player is now a lot more faster

- CPU mod optimized to get complete stability and Battery Mod Modify By ME

- Tweaked starter files for better ram!

- Above 60 MB ram at start up.

Please Note:

1. Before Flashing please delete folders Private, Data, Resource, cities, Sys, System and any other folders from Memory Card which are not used by you.

2. After successful flashing, wait for sometime till all the widgets gets loaded to the Homescreen.

3. Vibration in call is enabled by default.

4. Better to apply Installserver v1.7 Patch.

found two bugs...these fonts are not present when flashed with velocity,no flash on/off option in camera for nokia 5800,no ovi maps present...

I dont have the files with me right now....nor I remember the file names exactly. Its is some Resource files where the entries are changed. Basically you may get this readymade along with camera mods made by some modders out there.

If you could do a search in Rofs2, check for camera files and edit the .rsc or .r01 files using any resource editor or hex editor...change the values in it
