Install inside Windows give ubuntu 3 gb space(don't worry u can access other drives too) make settings like here...add a new password its compulsary restart the pc.. select ubuntu in now boot menu... (note:i have highlited windows 7 but you have to select ubuntu) thn it will install begin installing in ur pc.. It will take a little time.. after it finishes pc will restart.. now if u wanna go to windows 7 then select windows 7 and if wanna ubuntu go to ubuntu..! when you select ubuntu then you have a gain messed up with other boot menu that is ubuntu's boot menu.. Die2mrw007 Posted February 21, 2012 Report Posted February 21, 2012 hey ...except archiever no file worked or installed installation in linux is a bit tricky as u need to do this using command line via Terminal Quote
shivam94 Posted February 24, 2012 Report Posted February 24, 2012 basically, look up for the solution for your problem via google. Tip for using command line terminal is thag you must put "sudo" before every command to get admin privileges. After that you will be asked for password, just input you password. Note: no character will be displayed while you input your password. Don't worry, just finish entering your password and press enter. Quote
