[GUIDE] Importing language in n97 or c6 ported CFWs !!!

Tested on Nokia X6 RM-559 Symbian Anna v7.5 CFW (N97 Port)

1. First of all download N97 or c6 OFW ROFS2 with NaviFirm. (Download the one that supports your language) [Depending upon the base of your cfw]

2. Extract the OFW ROFS2 files with NFE 0.3 and get these files:

private\10009d8f\ecom-2-0.spi

sys\bin\PtiKeymappings_xxx_zz.dll

system\data\srsf_3_0.bin

    Rename "ecom-2-0.spi" to "ecom-2-1.spi"

3. Download *Multi ecom for support all language input* from here

4. Download c6v41 language pack from here

5. Download "Nokia QWERTY-Keyboard Editor 1.3.6" from here

6. Extract CFW ROFS2 with NFE 0.3

7. Import c6v41 language file FIRST!

8. Now go to "sys\bin\" folder and delete "PtiKeymappings_xxx_zz.dll" files.

9. Import files in number 2,3

10. Export "Resource\Plugins\peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_01.rsc" file from cfw and edit it with "Nokia QWERTY-Keyboard Editor" in number 5 and add your languages words to it! Then save it and change the number of the file.

For example my language is Farsi so I rename "01" to "50". (peninputvkbwindowconfiginfo_50.rsc)

11. Import the file in number 10 to the cfw.

12. Repack and Enjoy!

BTW, Number 2 and 3 was from (duybinh24.blogspot.com) thanks to binh24.

Test it with c6 ported CFW and post the results here.

BUGS:

- If you change the phone's language, It cause some bugs in qwerty keyboard and some bugs in the phone. So it's better to use English language of the phone and just use another writing language.

Wanting to do that on a C6v41 port CFW (LinsPirat V2 LTS for X6), I have some questions : 1. Which OFW should I use? 41.2.10 for C6-00.1 (RM-624) or 41.0.10 for C6-00 (RM-612)? 2. Can this be done for multiple languages? Like if I want both French and German? Thank you in advance.

yeah it's simple.

C6 cfw is not like n97 so just do this:

Just import your language and PtiKeymappings_xxx_zz.dll file and edit qwerty keyboard. no need for other things

Also add multi language mod for C6 if it's not in the CFW itself

All the  download links (eg. prc Chinese, Russian, Italy etc) under Language pack for c6v41 port by mara are not valid anymore. Can some one find any new link for the download. Thanks.
