thatz the main concern actually.... We can see that android apps doesnt close completely and runs in background making it discharge battery backup.. Also, the graphical UI is a lot in Android adding to the battery consumption.

Even after this, the OS is not fully optimized to use minimum battery. Maybe Google thinks of it and releases better versions of Android in future :)

Battery has been improved a lot in ICS:)

I would be happy if you could help me find some info about this phone (like the handset problems, its usability)

currently as far as I see, there are no major drawbacks of Sony Handsets. It is good to go :)

Friends is going for Android a wise choice or go for Windows?

depends on what u want from your mobile..if u are a gadget freak/into modding etc and want unlimited capabilities from your phone then go for android..windows phones are very good but certainly you wudnt have open source capabilities like android
