GO TO Registry editor and then Navigate to the following registry key in the Registry Editor: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion Locate the value named “ProgramFilesDir” and change the default value “C:\Program Files” to your new directory path(address). exit editor and refresh..! CrackUC Posted March 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 How to remove recycle bin from your desktop Tip: Open Regedit by going to START - RUN and type Regedit and hit enter. Then you should navigate to following entry in registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\ Desktop\NameSpace\{645FF040-5081-101B-9F08-00AA002F954E} and delete it. CrackUC Posted March 9, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 9, 2012 CHANGE DEFAULT SHUTDOWN TIME Navigate to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control Look for "WaitToKillServiceTimeout", by default, it is set to 12000 milliseconds(I think) Change this value to anywhere from 2000-5000, that is 2-5 seconds. I set to 2000 and had no problems(your experience may vary) and simply you can download the registry file too it will change the default timings to 2000 and you can have default settings too by downloading the second registry file..7633_.zip7634_.zip Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
