RAZR Posted October 16, 2011 Report Share Posted October 16, 2011 Apple has released iTunes 10.5 for Mac OS X and Windows users. iTunes 10.5 final version is now available for download by anyone that will allow you to uptade to iOS 5 which will be released tomorrow. Without iTunes 10.5, you won’t be able to restore to iOS 5. iTunes 10.5 also enables iTunes Match which is music service by Apple based on iCloud. iTunes Match is launching in the United States at the end of October. iTunes 10.5 adds support for iCloud, the cloud service brought by Apple which allows you to store purchases in the cloud then re-download them anytime on any device you want. What’s new in iTunes 10.5 1.iTunes in the Cloud. iTunes now stores your music and TV purchases in iCloud and makes them available on your 2.devices anywhere, any time, at no additional cost. 3.Automatic Downloads. Purchase music from any device or computer and automatically download a copy to your 4.Mac and iOS devices. 5.Download Previous Purchases. Download your past music, TV, app, and book purchases again, at no additional 6.cost. Previous purchases may be unavailable if they are no longer on the iTunes Store. 7.Sync with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iOS 5. 8.Wi-Fi Syncing. Automatically sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with iTunes any time they’re both on the same 9.Wi-Fi network. For jailbreakers, I don’t know yet if it’s safe or not.
