shivam94 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 rename belleshell.exe to ailaunch.exe PLEASE try edit: It's very confusing(ankursmooth step). Wait. let me finish my work. I promise that I will relook into ankursmooth method. Quote
LRajesh555 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 @nethacker.faris, read his steps again and see, ankursmooth has renamed belleshell.exe to ailaunch.exe So belleshell is terminable but not the original ailaunch.exe yeah ...as belleshell.exe is renamed to ailaunch.exe we can't terminate it ...after terminating it starts automatically .. pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 shivam, pavan and all testers and team including all please see the above why should u not try.... Or ask beta testers..to try..... Hey..guys...let try this method.....but ....what will be the difference between both? Quote
devilking Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 ANOTHEr idea' ailaunch.exe to bilaunch.exe rename belleshell.exe to ailaunch.exe you thinking what will it help in? ah when i returned after ending a call, i didnt return to shell so it ll help return to shell no need to edit starter_arm let it launch ailaunch.exe only and edit non critical rsc vcommandmanager to bilaunch.exe PLEASE TRY ABOVE no need to add replacehs if u are using jbak menu button red button will also get fixed with this and network also fixed, u ll have to kill bilaunch.exe via killme or jbak PLEASE try Just came to check if some little help by me could me provided.... and LOL now that was my idea see my post on this page......But don't worry I am saying nothing we are team I just wantes to say sometimes idea clashes and in this case it came to my mind so u never start fighting with someone for this like u did before..... and I think pavan or edios told previously that it will not work guyz read properly and understand what is in the method I think u all are getting confused with names....I think it should work..... http://forum.gizmolord.com/index.php?topic=2764.360 Quote
pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 applicable for all s60v5 devices. If menu3.exe not found, then check for matrixmenu.exe check it in....starter_non_critical Quote
pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 yeah i think so ...because i also didn't find that line ... @shivam: check the starter_arm.rsc i have posted yesterday night .. http://forum.gizmolord.com/index.php?topic=2764.630 ya...i think its in....starter_non_critical Quote

devilking Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 ya...i think its in....starter_non_critical Yes it is dre.... Quote
pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 Ankursmooth, your method is working because ailaunch.exe is running in background. Also, ailaunch.exe(home screen) process is non-terminable in your method. So lesser ram about 8 mb. ya...becoz he .renamed ai to bi and belleshell to ai....... Don't be confuse...! Quote
ankursmooth Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 I am not talking about our method. I am referring to ankursmooth method. In his method, ailaunch.exe will terminate but will restart again. In our method, ailaunch.exe can be terminated and will not restart. So ram saved. and network also started Bt ailaunch.exe is actualy belleshel in my method and we dont want it to terminate Bilaunch.exe is the original hs( ailaunch.exe) which wil start via non critical.rsc and hence wil be terminable Quote
pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 yeah ...z:\sys\bin\menu3.ex$ is present in starter non critical.rscmenu3.ex$ means it is not included in startup..... Quote

shivam94 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 ankur, trying your method now. Quote
pavan061994 Posted February 20, 2012 Author Report Posted February 20, 2012 Bt ailaunch.exe is actualy belleshel in my method and we dont want it to terminate Bilaunch.exe is the original hs( ailaunch.exe) which wil start via non critical.rsc and hence wil be terminableya....but note that .....dependency checks the valid .exe file name.....if it NT found it will create.bugs......and there is no difference in shivam and ur method........see and compare it...... We have renamed ...belleshell to bilaunch....and we r not using replacehs......we r using jbak...... We edited arm rsc.....of ailaunch to bi.... And and in non_critical......vcommandmgr to ..ailaunch(original)... So we have not changed any more.....and ...remember that...system will recognise ailaunch as hs process....and we can terminate it without...auto start of it.... But as we have added bilaunch to arm....and inplace of ailaunch.......it will not be terminated & if we terminate .... It will get restarted......... So.there is no difference and ...so no...confusion... Address plays vital role....i think..... Quote

shivam94 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 @pavan, agreed. I wanted to try his method only for checking that after call the program shows belle hs or not. But still I am trying my jbtask experiment Quote

Yes but after ending call system returns us to homescreen , so it shud return to shell now with my/devilking latest method(not 100% sure) Also red key will not take us to original hs as we are already there Middle key will be fixed by jbak and network vil be fixed by editing non_crticzl.rsc Quote

Then what shud we do for....matrixmenu or menu3.....in case of irajesh it.is not included in starter........ Quote
shivam94 Posted February 20, 2012 Report Posted February 20, 2012 I wish nokia would develop belle like hs for us and we don't have to think of doing all this in our thread. //NOKIA - LOOSER Quote
