  2. I've already patched my N97 to migrate/re-path browser cache from C:\System\Cache to E:\System\Cache , but still have to delete C:\System\dmgr manually from time to time — does anyone know some manual, or RomPatcher patch, or any kind of mod to make E:\System\dmgr a default download folder... ?
  3. thanks, guys... if just all apps were so easy to repack on to E:... made upto 38.7MB free on C: - the show goes on...
  4. well, yes, my first one ... just a "dummie" one - opened it with SISContents -> select all -> change drive letter to "!", and that's that... seems to be working, after 24h now...
  5. [img width=236 height=420] [img width=236 height=420] [img width=236 height=420] Emoze Push Client (for Individuals) Official Page ... repacked to install on to drive of Your choice... ... Emoze Push Mail Client seems to be discontinued, but it works flawlessly, at least with Gmail... pitty Facebook part doesn't work anymore, though... a tip: from time to time app quits by itself, usually upon opening a link from within the Emoze Inbox mail - I guess it's a damn Nokia N97 RAM problem - that's why I'm in a big "free my N97 ram" campaign ... in case Your inbox goes offline from time to time with no particular reason - toggle connection mode between "TCP" and "HTTP Tunelling" in Global Settings - it helped me... 3885_.sis
  6. Hi, again, mate... I know I am becoming kind of boring, but I'd really appreciate a "repack on e:" version - it is a 1MB file, but I loose more than 2MB of RAM upon installing, and having Nokia N97 I really need each of the free MBs... I am ready to try to repack it myself if someone could provide some tips regarding using SISContent in that purpose... hope You'll understand...
  7. thanks, mate... I've installed, and seems to be working... btw installer itself is around 1Mb, but after installing the package I lost more than 2Mb... having Nokia N97 I need any Mb possible, that's the reason...
  8. finally managed to install it... Solution: uninstall OVI notifications support package in case You have it installed, then install xms-qt.sis (extracted by SISContents from the original .sis file You've downloaded from the official page; during the installation You'll be notified that OVI Notifications API is missing, just choose "continue"), and then install the notification support package tristar2 attached in reply #11... thank You for Your assistance, hope this could be of help to someone... just, it would be nice to have OVI Notifications support package repacked to E:, though
  9. thanks, guys, but... uninstalled the old qt, restarted the device, installed qt + qt mobility + this last (11120) notification support, restarted the device, notifications went online, tried to install xms buddy, but - still the same - after some 30% of installation process I get "Preparing installation" hanging for some minute or so, and then "installation failed"... damn!... (for the record - many qt apps do work on my N97, but few of them won't)... also tried to install with WhatsApp not being started after the reboot, in case these two push notifications app are in collision, but "installation failed" again!... have no idea EDIT: forgot to add - with the installation of xms buddy nokia smart installer installation starts too - read somewhere that it could be the reason for many apps to have problems installing - any idea? UPDATE: extracted just xms-qt.sis file from xms ebuddy sis installation package (removed all of the other, nokia smart installer related files) - started the installation, now I get "Unable to install. OVI norifications API version 1.02(11130) or higher required"... downloaded 1.02(11130), but when tried to install it i got that my phone is not supported, and that I have to install the "base pack" first - ?!... God, this is frustrating...
  10. thanks... started the installation of OVI Notifications, chose e:, "preparing installation", and then got "File not found."... obviously wrong path somewhere (all the other Qt components are on e: )...
  11. thanks, tristar2... uninstalled Qt, restarted, installed Qt+Qt mobility from the first post (Hegazy), then installed Ovi notifications You posted, restarted the phone, Ovi notifications connected, tried to install ebuddy xms .sis file from their site, but still getting "installation failed" - ?!... any idea? (anyone has Ovi notifications .sis version repacked for install on e: ?)
  12. have Nokia N97 with Hegazy Final Ultimate v10.0 - tried all of these Qt repacks (each time uninstalling, and then installing), but no chance to install many apps (few apps work, though)... ebuddy xms is the one that interests me most... any idea?
  13. is this a customised "e: install" version, or regular "c:" one?
