Hello,

A  cool new app Disk Drill Media Recovery

post-42913-0-30026700-1403440175_thumb.p Description:

Disk Drill is the most user-friendly data recovery software for Mac, it can recover lost data from any disk you can mount to your Mac: USB flash thumb drives, cameras, card-readers, external hard drives, iPods (Shuffle, Nano, Classic, Mini), mobile phones, other Macs connected in target mode, etc.

Depending on the scanning method, Disk Drill will recover your lost pictures and photos, music, documents, applications, specific files and other data. "Quick Scan" and "Search for lost partitions" are capable of recovering previously deleted data if its meta-data is still stored in the file system, or can be reconstructed. Alternatively, "Deep Scan" works on a lower level and analyzes disks as binary entities; it can get your data back based on file signatures, however, original filenames, locations and properties might be unrecoverable.

Disk Drill Media Recovery supports all known file systems: HFS, HFS+, FAT16 and FAT32, NTFS, EXT3, EXT4 and actually any other file system, or even disks that were formatted or initialized and currently have no file system on them. If your data is still there and recoverable, Disk Drill will get it back for you.

!! Note: Disk Drill Media Recovery cannot recover data from any iOS devices like iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad.

!! Important: Disk Drill Media Recovery may not be able to see any disks (external and internal) on Mac OS X 10.8+ on the first run. Visit our knowledgebase for a quick solution: http://cleverfiles.com/ddmr

** Data protection **

Many users find Disk Drill's features for DMG backups extremely useful: save your data by creating a Disk Image (DMG) of any failing disk or partition for further data recovery, so you no longer need the original media. Later on you can mount this Disk Image to your Mac and recover data from it.

*NEW* Have you ever moved something to Trash to realize just moments after emptying it that… it was the only copy? Guaranteed Recovery comes to the rescue! Since version 1.5 Disk Drill Media Recovery introduces the much needed "Recently Deleted" feature to your Mac, so you can take your time to recover deleted items even when your Trash is emptied.

Disk Drill can also monitor your ATA, SATA and eSATA disks for hardware failures by polling S.M.A.R.T. status of available hard drives.

** Extra features upon download: **

- Scanning sessions simple saving and loading

- Flexible filters, searching & sorting of found files

- Live preview before scanning is complete

- Master password to prevent unauthorized access
