How to Run Android 4.0 Ice cream Sandwich and Android SDK on PC

While exploring web got this and thought better to post it here

In this tutorial we will learn how to run Android 4.0 SDK  and Ice Cream Sandwich in an emulator and explore the features of new Google Mobile OS.

Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich is latest and most powerful OS. Only one device support this till on  the date and that is Samsung Galaxy nexus.This new version brings more possibilities in technology.

Now you can gain this powerful OS experience on your PC now. You can play games, enjoy apps, Explore Android world.

Just follow the below steps and then you can enjoy android world on your pc :

1)Download Android SDK files and install them on your PC :- DOWNLOAD HERE

2)Now run SDK Manager from downloaded folder.

3) Then Data fetching starts by application from android SDK packages.

4) After completing loading process select the android package that you want to install.

    to run Android selecting the ?Android 4.0 (API 14)? and ?Android SDK Platform-tools? (under Tools).

5) Now click on Install packages then confirm message box comes then select install.

6) After clicking on install wait till all packages download from internet and install

After installing all packages close SDK manager.

set Up Android 4.0 Emulator

To run Android 4.0 now you need to setup Android Emulator

7) - Open Android SDK folder and run ?AVD Manager?. Click on ?New? and create a Virtual Device with details as in the screenshot below.

8)  Click on ok popup window.

9) Select the virtual device you just created from the list and click on ?Start?.

10) After few seconds an launch window starts the select launch option.

11) Then some pocess work starts including flashing command promotes .

   

You have to keep patience till Android starts it may take more than 5 min at first time .

Now you will see android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich starts as shown in below screen shot:

Note:- The above steps followed and android worked fine in Windows7 . Your Android should start if you followed steps correctly. This trick is for educational purpose only.

actually this is released for developers to test there apps and mods if you have a touch screen it will be damn good it's not handy for games  :'( but ofcourse u can play games but very useful for modders  >:D >:D you can also install jelly bean with it but it is a bit laggy hope for this kind of virtual environment for symbian  ::) so we don't need to flash our phones always to check bugs especially while preparing a cfw  :D

this is already for symbian and this is old trick........... you can install android on PC as new OS........... but nice share +1.;-)
