U can purchase a phone with cracked screen from ebay.com for about Rs.1500/- U identify the item and order it thru ishopinternational . com. my total expense was 2800/- , received in 10 days and now i took the mother board from that cracked phone and replaced the bricked one. The battery was also good in that cracked phone. so the total loss due to bricking is only nearly Rs. 2000/-

The phone is hard bricked. Nothing works.. totally dead. But today i replaced the motherboard and started again:) Now downloading Gizmolord RC7 V4.0-- With Stock phone and contacts . RECOMMENDED..

I already bricked my burst... but experiments will continue...

I have flashed Paranoid and it worked smoothly. Then I did some experiments and it ended in hard bricking my pantech burst. Is there any method to unbrick ? I have ordered another Motherboard from ebay.com.... experiments will continue after receiving that mother board..

It is not possible without PC. It can be rooted easily from Linux PC. May be possible to root with the help of another android phone, but don't take risk. After rooting install custom ROM like Gizmolord V.3 B after following the instructions given in this site. Most of the ATT applications are removed in the said Custom Rom.

Flash Clockworkmod Recovery from Linux PC (in windows it may create Driver issues....) and then restore backup from CWM or Flash custom Rom like Gizmolord V 3.0 B from CWM after wiping data, do factory reset after flashing. Never Play with ROM tool Box or Rom Manager.

I installed all ROMS including paranoid. Now the phone is bricked. Any method to make my phone ON? It is now totally dead. Any key combination is not waking up the phone. Please help me..........

Is it working properly? I am going to try it after getting your reply. I will make a backup from Rom Manager and flash your Rom. If anything goes wrong, i will be able to restore backup..

Gizmolord v3.0 for Pantech is the best available custom ROM. I tried all the available ROMS and found that Gizmolord V3.0 is really great. System becomes much smoother than Stock ICS. I really appreciate the hard work of you developers. When will you upload another latest version ?

I removed the browser, mms application etc and reinstalled them from the ROM which was copied to SD. Now everything is working fine. I formatted the Internal SD and tried to reflash with Gizmolord V3.0 A, just to try a reflash. But in CWM when I am trying to install from SD, the SD card is not getting mounted. Iam unable to format it also in recovery mode. Please give me a step by step procedure to be done after formatting the SD as I am very new in this field. Also let me know the chances for getting a custom jelly bean for pantech burst. Thank you.

Just now I flashed my pantech burst with Gizmolord V3.0 B ( Version = 3.0 . I am unable to open messaging and browser. The errors are , "Unfortunately, Messaging has stopped" and Unfortunately browser has stopped. Please help me to solve these issues. Please email me the solution to fix the issues .
