hackersnight99 Posted July 9, 2012 Report Posted July 9, 2012 Some Ex-Staff Members and other Ex-Enthusiastic of Nokia has decided to continue the great work that Nokia started with MeeGo, so they forms a company named as Jolla with the aim of bringing new MeeGo devices to the market. According to their LinkedIn the Jolla Team Consist directors and core professionals from Nokia's MeeGo N9 organization, and together with some of the best minds working on MeeGo in the communities. As the Jolla is isn't affiliated to Nokia so they won't provide any support to Nokia N9 or N950 developer handset. Together with international investors and partners, Jolla Ltd. will design, develop and sell new MeeGo based smartphones. The Jolla team consists of a substantial number of MeeGo’s core engineers and directors, and is aggressively hiring the top MeeGo talent to contribute to the next generation smartphone production.
