How to add your desired theme & make it default in your CFW

Adding A Theme To Your Rofs2

Here I m adding Nokia Evolve theme to my CFW.

1. Run SisContents. Click FILE -> OPEN FILE & choose your desired theme (Nokia Evolve in my case).

2. Now click EXTRACT tab and a folder will pop-up containing your extracted theme files.

3. NOw check for the theme's files 1st. A theme mainly consists of 3 files like themepackage.skn, themepackage.mbm & themepackage.mif

    So check these files:

    private\10207114\import\2003df53\themepackage.skn

    and

    resource\skins\2003df53\themepackage.mbm & themepackage.mif

    [img width=533 height=420] 3SHW0EfeM.png

    (2003df53 is UID of Nokia Evolve theme. So it will vary for you. It can be an 8 digit or 16 digit UID)

    (If you see files other than that in their corresponding folder, delete them.)

4. Now extract your rofs2 using NFE_Std and put the folders/files of your extracted theme in the corresponding folders in your extracted

    rofs2.

5. Now repack your rofs2.

6. Done. Your desired theme is successfully added to your cfw.

How to set your added theme as default

NOTE-1: Theme must have 8 digit UID (not 16 digit) to be able to add it as default theme.

NOTE-2: The UID must range from 20000000 to 2fffffff to set ur theme default. So when u see any other value (like A00000EB) than 20000000 to 2fffffff, then click on contents tab in siscontents. Double click on themepackage.skn and note down the 8-digit value in relative installation path. You should use this value to go ahead on making your theme default.

1. After adding your theme into your rofs2, go to rofs2\private\10202be9\

2. Find the text file 101F876F.txt and open it.

    You will see strings like below:

3. Change

   

0x14 string "20022F28" 0 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=alwaysfail

    to

   

0x14 string "2003df53" 0 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=alwaysfail

    (2003df53 is your theme UID)

4. Open Calculator (Programmer mode). Click Hex & type your 8-digit UID

5. Now click DEC and note down the decimal value

6. Now change the line

   

0x2 string "537014056" 16777216 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=WriteDeviceData

    to

   

0x2 string "537124691" 16777216 cap_rd=alwayspass cap_wr=WriteDeviceData

    Just replace the value "537014056" with your Dec value UID i.e with "537124691"

7. Click FILE -> SAVE

8. Now repack your rofs2 and flash

If your theme has 16 digit UID

(Suppose your theme UID is 589833357b1d0dbf)

1. Start SisContent

2. Go to FILE -> OPEN and open the sis file of your desired theme.

3. Click CONTENTS tab

4. Double click on themepackage.skn file

5. In Relative Installation Path type new 8 digit UID (Valid from 20000000 to 2fffffff)

6. After entering the new UID close the window.

7. And now you can go ahead with the new UID (relative installation path ID) as you do for 8-digit theme

i think my decimal values are getting wrong..

plz help..

i attached my default theme and cenrep file...

@ajay bro, the 8-digit UID must range from 20000000 to 2ffffff to make it default...so when u find 0xA00000EB in the information section of siscontents, to kno the actual 8-digit UID u have to see the relative installation path by double clicking on themepackage.skn in the contents tab of siscontents. So for ur theme the UID is 200039f0 ...

i have attached the cenrep file ...just put in 10202be9 folder and flash ...now ur dark theme is set to default :)
