  1. Smartphones, they really lack in battery backup, i agree it depends on the way you use it... I got Galaxy Note, with DataOn/WIFI i can oly take it for 15hours, not more than that!! So here the extended battery are the best option. When it comes to purchasing extended battery should choose a branded and which are made of quality Cells inside them, failing which you might risk your phone , as we already seen S3 burning when used a cheap battery. So it all depends on the product, its really good when you use a genuine item instead of cheap battery made of cheap raw materials.
  2. Thank you, enjoy updating your phone
  3. Sony Official Statement: With the holiday season around the corner, we’re happy to confirm that the first 2011 Xperia™ smartphones will be upgraded to Android 4.0 starting from end March/early April 2012. The first smartphones to get the upgrade are Xperia™ arc S, Xperia™ neo V and Xperia™ ray. Soon after, starting from end April/early May, Xperia™ arc, Xperia™ PLAY, Xperia™ neo, Xperia™ mini and mini pro, Xperia™ pro, Xperia™ active as well as Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman™ will get their upgrades. This will be a phased roll out over several weeks and all kits for a specific phone model will not get the upgrade at the same time. For more information about what’s going on during the process of an Android software upgrade, please check out this blog post from our Developer World team. It gives a comprehensive overview of the steps we need to take to ensure great software qualityonce it reaches the phone in your hand. Below is a summary of the process: •It starts with public push when we as a manufacturer get access to the new Android release from Google •Our developers take the existing Xperia™ software and combine it with the new Android release •Once the coding is done we want to make sure the quality of the new software meets our, our partners and your expectations •Now we feel the new software is ready but we also need to make sure it’s approved by our external partners •All good. We’re all set to roll-out the new software. The story continues in your Xperia™ smartphone As you can see, there are many steps involved and it’s a comprehensive upgrade in terms of number of products. So, how do you know when the new software is available for your Xperia™ smartphone? Owners of 2011 Xperia™ smartphone will receive a notification in the phone instructing them to download the software over the air via 3G or WiFi. Alternatively, they will have the option to connect to a computer and download it via PC companion. Over the next months we will be keeping you up to date on progress and we will also share video demos of the new software running on 2011 Xperia™ smartphones. * “2011 Xperia™ Portfolio” refers to the following products: Xperia™ arc and arc S, Xperia™ PLAY, Xperia™ neo and neo V, Xperia™ mini and mini pro, Xperia™ pro, Xperia™ active, Xperia™ ray as well as Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman™
  4. Well, here it comes — the first official Android 4.0 update from Samsung, labeled as XXLPQ. Galaxy S2 users in Baltic, Poland, Hungary and other Nordic countries can use the Samsung’s PC software Kies to update their phone to Android 4.0. But those of us who are apparently not from that area of earth, but are as much eager as one could be about official Ice Cream Sandwich for Galaxy S2, well, there is the Odin software to install the XXLPQ manually. It’s pretty easy and if you’ve been keeping up with us, you may have already done it countless times — XXKP8, XXLPH, XXLPJ, etc. But this time around, we flash the official Ice Cream Sandwich update for Galaxy S2 — XXLPQ. Well, there are some features missing from the earlier leaks, XXLPH and XXLPJ, like there is no 3D anim effect in drawer and while swiping home screens, which was present in XXLPH and XXLPJ, but other than that, XXLPQ is cool — no touch lags and it’s pretty fast and fully working rom, with TouchWiz 4 UI of course, hate it or not. If you own a Samsung Galaxy S2, Download FirmWare Files from http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9100 and Flash it with ODIN ODIN link: http://www.mediafire.com/?80hdr07ij033hom Note: This is only for GT-I9100 Phone, Please do not try this on 'G' version of this phone nor in any other Phone. Download any Region's FW files and flash, just make sure you download GT-I9100 Phone's files Enjoy
