We have introduced a new app Elephant: Missed Call Reminder

Elephant is a missed call/SMS/MMS reminder combined with the ability to control the phone ringer when device is in silent mode. Features included:

* MISSED CALL REMINDER: alerts periodically for missed calls, SMS and MMS acting in the same way as device ringer mode (sound, vibrate or mute), at any interval from 10 seconds to 24 hours.

* SILENT MODE FILTER: controls the ringer for incoming calls, SMS and MMS when phone is muted. Features included:
(a) Night Mode: suppresses incoming calls and messages during certain periods of the day (e.g. every Monday and Tuesday from 23:00 to 08:00).
( VIP List: a white list of contacts for which the phone always rings. It overrides the Night Mode.
© Ignore List: a black list of contacts for which the ringer stays silent.

* STATUS ICON: indicates if Missed Call Reminder / Silent Mode Filter is active.

* SETTINGS for volume, ringtone, vibration etc.

* HELP for all features

Aside from being a missed call/SMS reminder, when device is in silent mode, Elephant can be:
- used instead of call/message blocker
- set to ring only for VIPs
- set to ignore unknown phone numbers (numbers that are not in your device contact list)
- set to always ring for contacts that are marked as 'stars' in device contact list

FAQs:

Q: Does Elephant read SMS, call log or contacts?
A: It does not read message content, it only reads phone numbers of incoming calls and messages to check if a caller is in the VIP or Ignore List.

Q: Does Elephant block messages and phone calls?
A: No, it just makes decision whether to play sound and vibration. Messages and call logs are never altered in any way.

Q: Does it work with third party SMS apps?
A: Some SMS apps implement their own SMS inbox, others can intercept incoming SMS and prevent it from being visible to other apps. If such an app is installed on your phone, Elephant may not work or it may partially work.

Q: Are there any apps in conflict with Elephant?
A: Call/SMS blockers, apps that can mute sound volume may be in conflict with Elephant.
