Reset any Android passcode and Pattern Lock

-:Method First:-

What you need ?

1.A Linux or windows based OS

2.ADB and fast boot (Download from Google or from attachment in last of the post only for windows for linux download from google )

Note:-Make sure USB debugging is on if not then it can be done from any custom recovery

-reboot recovery and follow.

Now Steps:-

1.First open your command Prompt as administrator or open terminal in linux

2. Locate The adb.exe(windows) or change directory to where adb.exe is present:-

If my adb.exe is present in C:\Android Folder i'll use this command in Command Prompt:-

cd C:\Android

3.After Locating in C:\Android , Type This command in Command prompt:-

adb shell

4.After enter in Adb the screen will look like # , but if there is something like name@android or something like then just type "su" and hit enter and then it'll be look like # i

5. Enter this command After #

sqlite3 /data/data/com.android.providers.settings/databases/settings.db

6. After entering the Above command you will see sqllite3> in command prompt.

then use this command :-

update secure set value=65536 where name='lockscreen.password_type';

7. After enter the above command nothing will coming in cmd just sqllite3> so just enter this command:-

.exit

8.Now you will see this # again in command prompt. Then type this command:-

exit

9. Now it'll be again C:\Android now enter this command :-

adb reboot

and you done.

Note:-if you getting this error "/system/bin/sh: sqlite3: not found" then stop then it'll not work for you. There is another method for you.

-:Second Method:-

This method is for who unable to use above commands or can't understand these things. and for those who already entered wrong password many time and asking for username and password. Here is another Method.....

What you need ?

1. Aroma File Manger Flashable file Download from XDA

Now STeps:-

1. Put Aroma File manager zip in you memory card

2. Open your recovery (push volume Down+Power or it can be different in some other manufacture so better to look on google)

3. There will option in recovery "mount" . go in that option and then mount all cache , system etc.

4. After mounting select "update" and select "apply update from SD/external" and select aroma file manger zip file.

5. After Flashing or updating the aroma file manger will open. use volume key for up/down and power button to select like you use in recovery.

6. in aroma File manager , Go to menu , which is located in bottom strip and then select Settings.

7. in settings go to bottom and select "mount all partition in startup " then exit from aroma file manger

Note:- Use Exit option in Aroma File manager don't direct reboot in Recovery

8. now after exit , re update again that aroma file and Aroma File manger will open again.

9. Now go to data << System then find password.key , then long touch on password.key and some option will be prompted , choose delete and delete that file and restart and you done.

That is how you remove password or Passcode from Android Device.

After trying those methods if you see the screen still saying for passcode then just insert any code and it'll unlock ....... or drop down menu is working .....(like HTC type phones there is settings option in topbar so you can disable lock from their)

update system set value=0 where name=’lock_pattern_autolock’;

7. After enter the above command nothing will coming in cmd just just enter this command:-

update system set value=0 where name=’lockscreen.lockedoutpermanently’;

8.Now you will see this sqlite3> again in command prompt. Then type this command:-

.exit

9. Now it'll be again# now enter this command :-

exit

10. Now you will be again at C:\Android so just enter this command:-

adb reboot

and you done

if above command still not worked then follow those commands again and then use This command after Point 8. command

rm /data/system/gesture.key

then Follow Again from 9. point

Note:-if you getting this error "/system/bin/sh: sqlite3: not found" then stop then it'll not work for you. There is another method for you.
