hello, I have a question about my battery http://www.batteryselling.com/hp-pavilion-dv5-battery-6-cell-5200mah-11-1v.html that Google isn't helping with. I have bought two laptop batteries on line and both of them are money back due to the manufacturer defects. So, this make me wonder, whether there are so much technical barriers exiting in the battery quality control during the production in the current battery industry? Why the battery quality is so weak? I have heard that a new tool is upcoming to allow quick detection of flaws during lithium-ion batteries manufacturing and then fix them on the spot, will it come true. I am so tired of the poor quality of the batteries.

Hmm, I suggest we should be saying that to HP .  Well, there are new recent research results out ( http://www.purdue.edu/newsroom/releases/2013/Q2/new-technique-to-improve-quality-control-of-lithium-ion-batteries.html ) and we hope to see them in action in a year or two.  Until then bear with the defective batteries :P

One reason why I love using laptop because it has its own battery power which can save us from sudden power outage which is not good for our unit, but we cannot deny that battery will not last long, shall we say most batteries will be good for only up to 2 years, sometimes 1 year depending on how we use and care for it. At this moment my battery needs replacement and I am searching for a good one.
